Assistant Principal- Mrs. Stanford

Mrs. Devin Stanford began teaching at Winding Creek when the building opened in 2017. She felt a great sense of pride coming to Winding Creek and working on a team to create the vision and mission of the school. She has called Winding Creek home ever since and loved working on the Kindergarten team here.

Mrs. Stanford earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Shippensburg University in 2007. She moved home to Phoenixville and began teaching at Ithan Elementary School in Radnor Township School District. She taught there for 7 years, and during that time, obtained her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Neumann University. She then moved to Mechanicsburg and spent time teaching at both Monroe Elementary and Sporting Hill Elementary before moving to Winding Creek.

After earning her Administrative Certificate, Mrs. Stanford accepted the position of Dean of Students at Winding Creek. This is a position she is extremely passionate about and looks forward to serving the building in this capacity, working with students in grades K-5.

Mrs. Stanford is a proud resident of the Cumberland Valley School District. She lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with her husband, Darnell, who also works in this amazing district. She is excited to watch her children receive an education through CV and looks forward to the incredible experiences she knows they will have.

Mrs. Stanford loves to spend time with her family and read books. She enjoys traveling to the beach when she can but loves being anywhere her family and friends are.  She never passes up an opportunity to make a new friend and feels extremely lucky to do what she loves every single day.
